LET'S PLAY

SPELA (“play” in Swedish) is an interactive installation that celebrates a collaborative approach to creativity. Combining music – a universal means of emotional and creative expression – with interactivity, SPELA brings people together to imagine, experiment, create and play.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The installation allowed guests to collaborate and create music in real time by placing toys on the table. Every toy was inspired by a renowned artist and triggered a musical loops derived from their genre - from drums to guitar solos, sfx and vocals. Endless combinations and entertainment for hours.

WEBSITE

We built an interactive website for everyone who couldn't experience the installation at the venue. Utilizing WebGL, we created a virtual visual and musical playground for everyone to enjoy.

USER MANUAL

All parts of the project were purchased from IKEA. Creating an iconic manual seemed suitable.
